第一次看这一集时差点哭了，这样的猪妈妈给我来一打！我不知道别人家妈妈是怎样的，我妈就是经常说：你连这个人都是我的，你能有什么秘密？什么都要告诉我！不准瞒着我！
但是，小孩子有自己的秘密，只是为了宣告自己独立，他想要有自己的空间，希望自己能像个大人一样成熟、独立、自主，希望能得到父母的尊重。
有时候他们并不是一定要遮掩什么，他只是在争取自己的存在感而已。
我儿子就经常跟我说：妈妈，这是我们的秘密，不要告诉爸爸。但是转身他就跟爸爸说了。不要笑！这是小孩子的专属特色。
它并不幼稚！它是很认真的秘密！就像佩奇的秘密盒子一样认真。
猪妈妈非常有仪式感的给佩奇做了一个秘密盒子，然而佩奇并不知道什么是秘密，她问妈妈她该放什么进去，猪妈妈告诉她要自己做决定，而且让佩奇不要告诉她。
好一个开明的妈妈！

佩奇有了秘密盒子，她去跟乔治和爸爸得瑟，并且不告诉他们她的秘密盒子里装的是什么东西，那种“全天下只有我知道”的自豪感油然而生。
这种体验每个孩子最好都来几次，可以给青春期时的反叛做些缓冲，不过像猪妈妈猪爸爸那么开明的父母，就算佩奇青春期再反叛也可以化解吧？
当秘密盒子不止一个时，佩奇对秘密就不那么执着了，她开始觉得秘密不好玩，这点家里有不听话的孩子可以借鉴学习，为什么孩子会不听话反叛，大概就是父母对他的某些行为太在意，当秘密不再是秘密，小朋友便觉得没劲儿了，这个要自己体会了。
但是也不能让他一直沉浸在失落中，当佩奇开始郁闷自己的秘密盒子里的秘密没有乔治的秘密多时，猪妈妈又用甜甜圈轻松化解。
旁白：Mummy Pig has made a special box for Peppa.
妈妈：Peppa, this box is just for you!"
佩奇：Thank you, Mummy!
妈妈：It's a secret box for you to keep secret things in.
佩奇：What things can I put in it, Mummy?
妈妈：Only you can decide that, Peppa! It's your secret box!
佩奇：I know what I can put in it!
妈妈：Good. But don't tell me.
