2017年七月二日晚《高效能人士的七个习惯》读书笔记完成。这是我加入花花老师@KK英语大爆炸阅读小分队以来读完的第二本书【第一本因为没交笔记没有被花花老师记录在案】，个人的第一份英文读书笔记。花花老师有句名言，学习重在记录。不是原句，大概齐了是这意思。况且也是第一次全英文写作读书笔记，做个记录日后遇到啥不开心的事翻出来让自己开心一下想来也是不错的。话不多说，原文奉上：
This is a book that tells us how to make ourselves to be the best one in physical healthy, mental development, spirit and interpersonal relationship. It cludes family education, personal and organization development. Especially the points in personal development and mental relationship are worth all of us to learn and practice. Meanwhile, as today, serious lack of values and the pseudo success is so popular, it is a great helpful about building the correct values by "The Seven Habits of High Effective People". There are some thoughts and opinions I have after reading this book:
Children's education.
1. Don't try to change children, just stand apart and relax, then get out of his way and let his own personality emerge. Don't make the children to be the center of your world. Instead of trying to protect them, let them know, "we're not going to protect you, you can handle everything on your own."
2. Stewardship delegation is a way of high effective management. The writer also takes his little aon for an example. What impressed me was, when he found his son indulged in playing with other children at the park and obviously forgot to take care of the yard, he didn't yell at his son and punish him immediately. As they arranged before, the writer didn't say anything until ater dinner. Finally, the little child not only cleaned the yard up with his father's help but also cultivated an ability of solving-problem by himself. It meant a lot to the children as his age's.
3. The problem is an opportunity to improve the relationship. If parents see children's problem as an opportunity to invest their relationship, they would not feel bored and even irritable. It will be great helpfull for improving the relationship and cultivating the children's ability to solve problems by themselves.
Personal growth.
1. It won't work with a wrong map if you want to overcome your weakness. Only if the map is right, "Asking not about the harvest but the ploughing" will be work.
2. Self-control.
Most people think that they don't have enough power of self-control. but the truth is, they can't establish correct goals and distinguish the relative importance or urgency.
There is also a sentence impressing me a lot, "It is our willing permission, our consent to what happens to us, that hurts us far more than what happens to us in the first place." Let us spend one minute thinking about our lives. Do we really know what proactivity means?
