FrameWork层源码分析之四大组件之ContentProvider原理解析

说起contengProvider这个组件平时开发用的不多,但其却是多进程的一大利器,binder规定传递的数据大多在1m以内,然而contengProvider在访问通讯录的数据很大,那它内部是如何工作的呢?
首先看下其查询的方法

ContentResolver cr = getContentResolver();  
Cursor cursor = cr.query(uri, null, null, null, null);  

表明了向第三方的app进行查询的操作,先透露以下,getContentResolver()获得是ContentResolver的proxy对象
那究竟是如何获得的呢?

可以看到调用的是ContentResolver方法的query操作

这里重点看acquireUnstableProvider获得的这个IContentProvider对象
方法的调用在ApplicationContentResolver的acquireProvider方法

也就是activiththread的acquireProvider方法,也就是核心方法

这里先从acquireExistingProvider方法里取IContentProvider,这方法也就是从mProviderMap中取缓存对象,取不到的话就调用ams的
getContentProvider方法,然后在拿到的holder不为null的情况下
调用installProvider方法。先跳过ams的方法,看下installProvider的方法

这里主要是对ProviderClientRecord对象一些赋值的操作,无论localProvider是否为空都会执行installProviderAuthoritiesLocked这个方法

也就是把key和value放到mProviderMap中,由此判断出来此方法是做一些缓存工作和赋值操作的,让以后的调用不要走ams的流程。

ams获取的流程

这里ams的主要功能如下

从ams中查询cpr也就是ContentProvider端的进程是否存在
如果进程存在就调用activitythread的scheduleInstallProvider方法
如果进程不存在就调用startProcessLocked开启进程
下面是一个ams挂起的过程

先讨论进程存在的时候:

在activitythread中

这里来接收,会调用installContentProviders还是调用installProvider方法,从上面我们知道当ContentProviderHolder不为null的时候调用添加缓存的,那为null时候的调用呢?

可以看到是通过反射创建出ContentProvider对象然后调用其attachInfo方法的
在创建完之后又调用ams的publishContentProviders方法目的就是让ams notify刚刚挂起的进程

当有进程没有ContentProvider分析完了,再来看下没有进程的情况
在启动进程时会ams会调用attachApplication方法

这里有个attachApplicationLocked方法里面会调用generateApplicationProvidersLocked方法也就是ams缓存ContentProviderRecord的逻辑

所以才有后面ams取出ContentProviderRecord的info对象给activityThread的逻辑了,随后ams调用bindApplication进行绑定
从这里可以看到

总结:

调用ContentResolver cr = getContentResolver();分为好几个流程:
1:如果activityThread的map有缓存,直接返回
2.如果没有缓存,进行binder通讯,在ams里又分为2个逻辑
2.1:有进程的情况:通过反射创建ContentProvider对象
2.2 没有进程:开启进程,然后同过process把ContentProviderRecord缓存起来,同时创建对象
3设置activityThread的map缓存
