Recently, I develop a good habit of learning English words. Learn words have been a part of my daily routine.How did i do it? Please listen to my speech: )

When i was a student, study English was mandatory. Gradually, I became interested in English. At that time, I could say i had a habit of learning English.

After graduation and began to work, there is no exam anymore, and English skill i had mastered could help me to deal with daily work like read and write some e-mail and document. I would read some English material sometimes but without specific plan of study or review. Actually, I had given up the habit of learning English.

The period last quite a longtime, about 3 years. Words escaped from my mind very quickly. When we met again, i had forgotten the meaning of many words. When I wanted to speak English, I found there was so little words in my memory.So i want to make a change.

About half years ago, i rejoin toastmaster club. About a month ago, i began to learn English words almost everyday. Why I love to learn new words now? I said to myself when i prepare this speech.

I should analyze the essentials of this questions. I think there are 3 crucial elements help me to form the good habit again.

1. I find the right thing i want to do and i need to do.

After join tmc, take part in club meeting and communicate with members and new friends is my favorite things now. It also let me know i should learn English seriously.

Every week, in regular meeting, all parts are so splendid. I want to listen to your stories and understand your words.

However, learn with our members in regular meeting is not enough for a employee like me. Our members do different kinds of work and have different English background. Some members are so great and talent in English. Some of you are English major, some of you are English teacher. Some of you could use English in daily work, but i don't.

I release i should make a plan for myself, learn and review English words is very important for me.

When I learn English word, I could study some example sentences. So learning new words is also a good way to review words.

Learning English words is important for me in this period.

2. I find right way to do it.

I have find a habit i want to develop, now the problem is to find the right way to do it.

Harry and Elena help me a lot, they let me know to try BCZ(百词斩). At the very beginning, i did not want to use it. Just another APP, no special. They didn't recommend me to use the app directly. They just send their study record in our small WeChat group called "哈利营". Their action let me know i should try BCZ by myself. In their records, I can see they have learned and reviewed how many words.

I don't have effective way of remember words, learning English words using paper word book is really a tough task. So I download BCZ and give it a try. After use BCZ 3 days, i found there are some shinning points of the APP.

1) convenient, i can hold my cell phone to learn word anytime i want.

Make plan and modify plan for myself easily.

2) Interesting, sentence, funny picture, even video by two native speakers.

Cell phone screen savers could be replaced by words you just learned me to remember the word.

3) After i send out the record of learning word, i could have sense of achievement. BCZ is a really great APP, I even want to pay for it.

3. I have some good friends

who want to do it together with me There is someone so great, want to do it together with me. when i see their records, i would remind myself whether i have learned words today. We remind each other to learn new words daily.

It's impossible for me to forget to learn words now. Learning words become so cool and so easy.

All obstacle and barrier have been cleared. There is no obstacle to stop me learn words now. I don't have excuse to don't use it and stop learn words now.

In summary.

I had learned English more than 10 years. If i give up my English, it would be a great waste in my whole life. I don't want to be a English illiterate. And there are 3 things could help us to form a new habit. Find right thing, find right way, find right people who want to do it with you

A day is a miniature of eternity. We could benefit a lot from good habit. Together, let make change.
