The one of the most brilliant of his painting ,definitely is "The Starry Night".So seldom do people know that there are two paintings called "The Starry Night".So I only introduce what difference between these two "The Starry Night".
One is "The Starry Night"Which is well known by people. The first feeling of this painting I saw was both mixing with quiet and lively,fantastic brushwork with bright flowing movement, while Van Gogh used large area of blue purple cold sink color to create a quiet night ,but those the orange -yellow dots in the silence of the night sky, just shows the exciting element of happiness.Capture your eyes and lost inside! Despite not authentic painting,still full of power.This is the charm of art!
This painting is in "The New York Museum of Modern Art". I will go to NewYork this month.I am looking forward to seeing this painting in person.So exciting!
Another one of "The Starry Night"has a similar color composition and painting skill . But showsmore quiet and peaceful,not such strong visual impact.As it is on the river, the reflection of the light from the shore corresponds to the stars in the sky. Not same feeling as the another one.The painting name is "Starry Night Over The Rhone ".
This painting is in "Musée d’Orsay" in Paris.The muesum is facing to "Musée du Louvre".That's Paris,you could feel art element in any corner.I visited thsee two Muesems few years ago.It's a great honor for me to see this painting. And took a picture in front of it.If possible,I will try to find the picture and post here.
So now I collected two painting together,we could compare the differences.People will mix up when they see them seperately. I do love those painting and now Van Gogh is my favourite painter .Arts always provide energy and thinking to people.So entering to art world,you will never be dissapointed.
