Q1:In your observation, what are the characteristics of Chinese parenting?

A1：As far as I’m concerned, Chinese parenting is a little strict but totally correct and beneficial. Accoding to the book, Chua , the tiger mother, forced her two lovely daughters to play the piano and the violin , to be the top student at class and so on. Although these are strict , they led to good results —— the two hard-working girls became very successful and did well in music and study. It's very important to use a proper way to educate chirdren when they were young . And because they are not experienced, they are easy to get into trouble or grow up in a wrong direction. Chua's stricting parenting forced her children to be more independent and in the end, they got a bright future. So it's totally correct of the Chinese parenting .

Q2:What do you like and don't like about Chinese parenting? Why?

A2 : I like Chinese parenting. Being strict is one of its advantages . Because of the strictness , Chua's two daughters are mor independent and firmer . According to her book , Sophia once made a birthday card for Chua , which Chua rejected because they weren't good . The fact was : the card was feeble , and Sophia was busted but she didn't feel Chua was rejecting her . If she tried her best at something , Chua would never throw it back in her face . And since then , Sophia always did her best to do her own things . Every body seems to think art is spontaneous . But Chua' s strict parenting taught Sophia that even creativity takes effort . And when her daughters grew up ,they live a meaningful life because of the good education they had . Thanks to Chua's strictness , the two girls now are excellent and independent. The Chinese parenting lets children develop good habits at an early age and it does a really good job . And that's why I like Chinese parenting so much .
