Hope this letter finds you doing well. The project we are working on is quite a challenge for me, and I'm looking forward to have an update communication with you.By the way, have you ever made any progress on it? The deadline is coming, maybe it's better to finish it a little bit earlier.And I am thinking it will be good to leave one week's time for revision before turning it over to the manager, just in case the integration of our works calls for some major overhaul.

Shall we have a lunch together this Thursday? We can exchange our opinions on that. Oh, actually,  there is a nice place I find recently where we can enjoy a perfect lunch time near your office. I'd like to take you there.
