        Keeping a diary in English is one of the effective ways to improve our English writing ability.  Compared with other forms of writing, it is shorter and take less time. It can help us to cultivate the habit of thinking in English. Plus, we'll learn how to express ourselves in English. I had some difficulties when I started writing a diary in English. First, it often happens that I have trouble finding appropriate words and phrases to give expression to my mind. Secondly, there are many idiomatic ways of saying things in Chinese. And it is extremely hard for me to put them into English properly. I will insist on writing diaries in English, although I know this is not an easy thing.
