《Knuffle Bunny Free》Mo Willems, a number one New York Times best-selling author and illustrator has been awarded a Caldecott Honor on three occasions (Don’t let the pigeon drive the bus! Knuff Bunny and Knuffle bunny too)。

Trixie and her family take a trip to Holland and visit her grandparents(Opa and Oma), while she lost her favorite toy.While her treasured friend Knuffle Bunny has a different travel plans. Trixie imagines all the places that her stuffed animals travels and the people it meets....while on her way back home and in the same plane she found Something and more she made her own decision to give her treasured Knuffle Bunny to the crying baby...

Audience today: 4 from Grade 1-2, 1 is from Grade 4

Step 1(5 min): Warm-ups: Introduce myself and ask them introduce themselves

Sing a song: Head Shoulders Knees and Toes (Because in the afternoon time, make them have a movement)

Step 2(10 min):Read the story book

Step 3(10 min): Ask the questions as the following:

What’s the girls’ name?

Where do they have a trip?

What had happened about Trixie when she arrived in Opa and Oma’s house?

How did her family courage her when she lost her favorite Knuffle Bunny?

What did Trixie do when she hear the crying baby in the aeroplane?

To make  them understand the tale.

Step 4(10 min):

Ask them to draw the Bunny ang list their favorite toys using patterns: My favorite toy is ...Some draw Bunny, Dinosaur, one student drew playing Chess.

The girl from Grade 4 is assigned to write a letter to Trixie as she is the crying baby.

Ask them to present their drawings...
