"Little auntie, you are Xiong Da and I'm Xiong Er, is that ok? Xiong Da is extremely clever!"
"How about Xiong Er? Is he clever?"
"He is ok, just so-so... but Xiong Da is extremely clever!"
This is a conversation between GuoGuo and I, Guoguo is my full elder sister's daughter, born in 2008. She lived in Hangzhou, far away from Dalian, so we need to meet each other from time to time.
In 2012, Guoguo was 5 years old, my sister took her back to our hometown and I went back as well. We met in our hometown.
Every day, Guoguo asked me to play together with her, there's one game she liked the best.
In the yard, we pretended to be in a sports day, she was the athlete and I was the starter.
She was preparing at the starting line. As soon as I said: "Start!"
She began to run, after running for a few meters, she suddenly said "aiyo" then pretended to be falling down on the yard, after 2 seconds, she stood up again and sang:"摔倒没关系~我再来一次！" then ran again to the finishing line.
A little tender figure, falling down and standing up, singing a song to encourage herself and set off again.
Later, whenever I recall this scene I felt so touched, I hope this simple sentence can be embed into Guoguo's deep mind - falling down is never a big deal, I will keep calm and carry on.
Half year later, in october 2013, I invited Guoguo to my wedding ceremony. Guoguo was the VIP (very important person) at the wedding - she was the only flower girl. Guoguo looked forward to this big day for a long-long time, she dressed up so beautifully like a little princess. We prepared a very professional flower basket for her, the host taught her how to perform a flower girl - "walk in front of the bride and the bridegroom, don't look back, throw the rose petals backward across the shoulder."
On that day, I was too busy to pay attention on Guoguo, when the ceremony started, I was shocked by her performence! It was really out of my imagination,I never thought she would be so professional, it was amazing. On the special time, as an adult, I still feel a little nervous, but Guoguo as a tiny little girl, she did a wonderful job!
The host asked the little flower girl come to the stage to take a short interview. He asked: "Hi little princess, could you tell us how old are you?" "Six years old~" "Do you think our bride is beautiful today?"
Guoguo looked at me, smiled and answered loudly:"My auntie is the most beautiful bride in this world today!"
The host asked another question:"Do you think you are beautiful?"
Guoguo kept the smile and said:"I look alike my little auntie."
All of the guests applaused and laughed aloud.
One year later, in the summer vacation, I went to Hangzhou and met little Guoguo again at her home.
One day, after dinner, my sister, Guoguo and I sat on the sofa, chatting together, later my sister asked Guoguo to take a shower.
Guoguo said: "Mom, I want my antie to accompany me during the shower time."
"Oh no, it's not allowed."
"Why?"
"You could not take a shower with someone else in the bathroom."
"Then why you take shower together with me?"
"Only mom is allowed."
Guoguo seemed not satisfied with this answer.
She came to my side, stood behind me with her arms around my neck, put her face close to mine and said sweetly:
"This is my little auntie~~! Still cannot go shower together? Look! We are so close~~!"
"OK, go ahead." Her mum finally gave up and smiled.
Guoguo was so happy and she gave me five brightly!
My bestie once said to me, besides our parents, our aunties are always another special and warm harbor to us, when we are in difficulties, they always support us, love us and help us out from the difficult time. I agree with her.
While after staying with little Guoguo time after time, I would like to say, being an auntie is an even more exciting journey with such a lot of touching experience and brilliant surprise.
Next time when I meet Guoguo again, I will tell her: "Xiong Da really missed XiongEr very much, let's go out running and then take a shower together, let's become more beautiful together~"
