I compassionated reading Antirez' blog, esp. the following:
I would say that what I write is useful just as a side effect, but my first goal is to make something that is, in some way, beautiful. In essence, I would rather be remembered as a bad artist than a good programmer
Reminded me of the déjà vu when I first seriously started programming in 16' in Columbia. It was so much fun, which is exactly why I would choose swe as a starting point in my career.
Daily work a few weeks however, only worked in the opposite way and dried up my enthusiasm inch by inch. It's not right. When one loses interest in something, it's just going to deteriorate moderately before freefalling into the abyss of sensation deprivation.
Something needs to change here.
